STEMCIS is exploring forward-looking approaches for the treatment of diseases through the use of adipose tissue and its derivatives. Osteoarthritis, urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction are currently of particular interest to the company.

STEMCIS conducts numerous preclinical and clinical projects, in collaboration with international centres of excellence. These projects concern both the development of new products and the search for new therapeutic indications for existing products.

 

  • 2019 - Urogenital system

    H2020 SME Instrument Phase 1: Business innovation grants for feasibility assessment (technical, commercial, financial) of a new method to extract adipose SVF and its application in post-prostatectomy erectile dysfunction.

  • 2018 - Musculoskeletal System

    Positive results for the veterinary study on osteoarthritis treatment in dogs with Adipose Purified Microlobules (APM): significant improvement of the pain (47%) and lameness (73%) six months after treatment.

     

  • 2017 - Urogenital system

    Experimental study in partnership with Urosphère (Toulouse – France) to assess the efficacy of Adipose Tissue Purified Cells (ATPC) in a rat model of erectile dysfunction
